Avoiding unwanted comments

Right oh. Have set up the blog and assumed that only Cam 23 people would be interested but have just received the following email. Can other bloggers advise on privacy issues?

    To get rid of unwanted comments, switch on Comment Moderation and set it to Always. That means that you'll be asked to approve all comments that people leave before they're published to your blog. You can delete anything you don't want.
    You can find it click Customise, then the Settings tab, then Comments in the menu under the tabs.
