Avoiding unwanted comments

Right oh. Have set up the blog and assumed that only Cam 23 people would be interested but have just received the following email. Can other bloggers advise on privacy issues?

Wondered why my blogs were giving the impression I was on the computer at very peculiar hours. Realised that the settings tab had me in Pacific time zone.
